Two ways to see this.
- Verification if there is a way to verify if the overlay is indeed installed.
- Force the string of ssh512 to be overwritten in the user_class by specifying the "PW2 Overlay".
Careful here as if overwritten in the return method "string" of return_hash, current logic impose matching of the class name. Resulting in an automatic "empty" password on the user. (although LDAP is stucked with ssh512, it is just a UI issue).
- It would be the best choice. Where to implement this would be in the backend configuration when adding it to the list of possible password methods choice.
- Second would only be "mandatory", although interesting to have, in case no overlay verification can happen.
