Actual behavior
Whenever you change an attribute value within tasks backend configuration, lastExecTime is reset.
Expected behavior
The last value within the attribute fdLastExecTime should be kept in case of modification.

Go within tasks configuration. Update any values (max batch or time interval).
Benefits
Possible to increase or decrease the current time interval between the last execution.
