Groups within Groups Disappear from UI
After upgrading to 1.2 we started to convert our groups into this new format as opposed to individual uid's being members of the group. After adding a group (Non Posix) to another (Non Posix) group the group disappears from the front-end UI yet remains in the LDAP DB.

New user here, and experiencing the same bug that this issue is centered on. In testing against the 1.3-dev branch on http://demo-dev.fusiondirectory.org/ and can confirm that the issue is partially fixed.
However, I am finding that any group that contains a group as a member cannot have an email address assigned to it. Below are symptoms being shown on your demo-dev server:
- When a group contains one or more groups as members, the Mail and Partage tabs disappear when editing groups.
- If a group contains only people, and mail information has been assigned, an error is thrown when trying to add groups to the membership list. The error is "The object has changed since opened in FusionDirectory. All changes that may be done by others will get lost if you save this entry!" This change cannot be saved (via OK or Apply) without getting the error, and the membership change does not occur. In this second case, as soon as this message appears, all mail settings tied to the "outer" group object are immediately deleted, even without confirmation. The Mail tab shows as active, and clicking on it will display the old settings, but clicking OK, Apply, or Cancel all return to the Groups and roles screen, and re-editing the group object will show that Mail settings have been removed.
This can probably all be solved by allowing mail settings to apply to 'groups of groups', which would likely stop fusiondirectory from trying to "clean up" settings that should be left alone, but I'm not sure if there are constraints in the schema that would prevent this from happening.
