when migrating users with fusiondirectory-setup –migrate-users it cannot migrate user with samba attributes

hello,

when migrating users with fusiondirectory-setup –migrate-users it cannot migrate user with samba attributes, because old version of fd and goSA where not putting the corresponding objectClasses

in this case if samba attributes are found, it should ask the user if they want to keep it :

  • if yes it should check and add the necessary objectClass and attributes if needed
  • if not it should remove them when migrating users

Cheers

Taking the old user from https://forge.fusiondirectory.org/issues/4378 as an example, I can’t add sambaSamAccount objectClass without adding the sambaSID attribute. Should I ask the user to enter a sambaSID for each user he says yes?

No sambaSamAccount means the samba tab was not activated so I’d say just remove the samba attributes.

It work nicely to migrate old users (normal and samba) from 1.0.8.9 to 1.0.9.2-1-fixes
