Some plugins build search filters with empty values

(attribute=) is not a valid LDAP filter, searching for an empty value is done with (!(attribute=*)).

But it seems a few plugins are building filters like this, as shown by the changes from fd#6107 which triggers errors in Selenium tests for systems and posix plugins.
