the cyrus mail option are on the mail tab

Expected behavior

having a cyrus mail config tab only when the cyrus plugin is installed

Step by step description of new behaviour

move to a cyrus tab configuration the following attributes

• Use cyrus UNIX style
• Cyrus autocreate folders

removing non necessary attributes from the mail tab

@bmortier fdCyrusUseSlashes is used in all mail methods to chose between using . or /. fdCyrusAutocreateFolders is indeed only implemented in cyrus mail method.

If we move those, we may want to move them to the service configuration instead, since in a same FusionDirectory we may have one cyrus server and one dovecot server for instance? (meaning maybe one needs to use . and one /? Or two cyrus servers with different configuration.)

you are right reading the code all those option seems to be related to cyrus the should all move to the cyrus plugin.

The presence of them in the configuration backend date back when only one type of server was allowed for FusionDirectory

In reality I believe that only Cyrus has both possibilities, but I know more for Dovecot whether to use / or . Currently it is directly used in mailMethod from which all methods inherit, to build the account id

I think I will put a boolean in mailMethod, and only in cyrus the value of the boolean will be changed according to the setting of the service. That way the other methods can add a setting later if necessary. And by default I take what corresponds to dovecot, I would look at their doc or the tickets we had on the subject.
