FAI client fails to boot to Linux Kernel after PXE
The PXE client tries to boot a "default" kernel no matter the configured kernel ie. vmlinuz-install instead of linux-image-2.6-486 .
I also found that the cmdline variable is not populated unless I put values in "Custom options" (under Boot Options in FD). Should this be required?
I tried to get further by populating "Custom options" with the following : vga=normal initrd=initrd.img-2.6.32-5-486 nfsroot=/srv/fai/nfsroot , and typing a kernel name at the PXE boot: prompt ie. vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-486 . The kernel boots, but I get the following :
(...kernel boot stuff...) List of all partitions: No filesystem could mount root, tried: Kernel panic, not syncing (etc...)
